Sarasota University Breaks New Ground as the First MACTE Accredited University, Unveils Innovative Programs for Future Educational Excellence

The recognition by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) marks a significant milestone for Sarasota University, validating its commitment to excellence in adult learning. Dr. Rebecca Pelton, President of the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education, stated “We are very pleased that Sarasota University is the first university to receive full institutional accreditation from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education!”
