Frank Leto, author, writes, “this is story about a little girl who was born during Carnaval. Both her parents are entertainers, the mother a dancer and the father a musician who met during Carnaval. A year later Queenie was born. As she grows older she learns to dance, play instruments and sing like her parents. Her parents educate her to the different Carnaval celebrations in Trinidad, Brazil, Cuba and Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Queenie dreams of the day when she can perform along side her parents as the Queen of Carnaval.”
