MACTE, The Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education, has announced that they are now accepting applications for the accreditation of the Administrator Credential. From their website: “Careful consideration was put into crafting competencies and setting the academic and practicum requirements that will prepare adult learners to lead a children’s school.” The first applicant for the accreditation is CGMS, The Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Such leaders are essential for the continuing growth of Montessori throughout the world. We believe in the value of MACTE accreditation!”
