Upper Elementary Guide in Andover, Massachusetts, US

Andover School of Montessori seeks an Upper Elementary teacher to join an established multi-age program (4th – 6th grade) to start in January of the 2023 – 24 school year. Applicants will have prior teaching experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, technological skills in a G-suite environment, strong classroom management skills as well as the ability to collaborate within a team-teaching model. Applicants should have a background in math and language arts as well as a Montessori certification and/or bachelor’s degree in education and have a desire to provide a positive and peaceful working environment. The academic class sizes are 6 – 10 students, so the teacher has the opportunity to get to know his/her students in a meaningful way. The pace of the classroom is such that it allows students to reflect on their work and develop a meaningful understanding of concepts.
