CVMS has been serving Southwest Portland for over 36 years and value the community around us. Currently, we are seeking a Lead Guide to join our Lake Oswego location. This authentic space is nestled within Mountain Park and boasts newly renovated classrooms, natural outdoor playscape, gardens and is next to the neighborhood walking pathways. This is a property with plenty of space for discovery with children!

This location serves children between the ages of 4 months and 6 years old; with an infant classroom; 2 toddler classrooms and 2 Primary classrooms. We are looking for a confident, respectful role-model with a sense of humor, growth mindset, positive attitude, and flexibility to boot! While we know there are so many options in this wonderful field of Montessori, we feel confident that CVMS would be a meaningful work environment for either a newly trained or experienced guide. We have a full time, AMI trained Pedagogical Director to support all team members wherever they are at on their Montessori journey.

Qualified candidates should be trained (or be finishing training) by a MACTE accredited training institution and have a strong sense of the Montessori scope and sequence. Ideal candidates will have experience leading in a Primary community; be comfortable being outside each day as well as an understanding and practice of daily observation and recordkeeping.
