Job Overview:
Pearl Montessori is seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our team to lead our primary classroom (ages 2.5-6 years old). The ideal candidate is passionate about the Montessori approach to education with a strong background in early childhood education. We are looking for a collaborative and nurturing individual for this full time position. Compensation is dependent upon education and experience.
Qualifications:
– Montessori Teaching Certification, complete or in progress
– Minimum 12 ECE units, required
– Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field, or equivalent, preferred
– CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
– Experience working in a primary classroom, 2 years preferred
– Physical stamina to work with young children and lift up to 30 pounds
-Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, communicate effectively and supervise personnel when necessary
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children
