Montessori Primary Assistants
We are looking for classroom assistants to work with children ages 2.5- 6.  You must have a willingness to create an inclusive learning environment by partnering with all staff to cultivate kindness and curiosity.

Part-Time Assistant
7:30 am – 1:00 pm,  Monday – Thursday
or 11:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Thursday
As an AM Part-Time Assistant, you will work in a classroom with a trained guide, and support the three classrooms during times of transition.  Transitions include half-day dismissal, time outside, lunch, and rest time.  As a PM Part-Time Assistant, you will support transition needs, end of day dismissal, and work in the Afternoon Enrichment Program.

Full-Time Assistant
7:30 am – 1:00 pm,  Monday – Thursday and 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Friday
or 11:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday –  Thursday and 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Friday
As an AM Full-Time Assistant, you will work in a classroom with a trained guide, and support the three classrooms during times of transition.  Transitions include half-day dismissal, time outside, lunch, and rest time.  You will also support the Friday Enrichment Program.
As a PM Full-Time Assistant, you will support transition needs, end of day dismissal, and support the Afternoon and Friday Enrichment Programs.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate
An enthusiasm for being with young children
A deep reserve of patience, warmth, and adaptability
A willingness to develop and nurture positive relationships with colleagues, students, and families
Proficiency in a second language is desirable but is not required

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, beginning at $21.00 an hour
40 hours of paid sick time
