West Side Montessori (WSM), guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, inspires the development of individual children in a safe, supportive, culturally-diverse environment that gives them the freedom to explore, cooperate, create, and become independent learners. Founded in 1975, WSM is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves families with 300 students 13 months through 8th grade. WSM is an accredited private Montessori school in the state of Ohio.

Position:

West Side Montessori, Toledo Campus, has a full-time job opening for a Lower Elementary Teacher in a growing program joining an experienced team of Montessori teachers. It is a mixed-age classroom for children in grades 1-3. We are a well-established, highly-regarded Montessori school with:

Educational Requirements:

• State certified for grades 1-3 in current standing

• Montessori certification preferred or a willingness to obtain Montessori training

• Prior classroom experience preferred

• Knowledge of State Standards
