Lead Primary Teacher in Holly Springs, North Carolina

Magnolia Montessori Academy, located in Holly Springs NC, is now accepting applications for a fulltime Lead Primary Montessori Teacher in a classroom of 12-15 students (with an assistant teacher) for the 2021-2022 school year.

This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm during the school year ( Mid September– Mid July ). An option to work in the summer for an hourly wage can be discussed.

​Lead Teacher Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in education or related field preferred

• Must have Montessori teaching credentials

• Must complete a Criminal Background Check

• Understanding of and commitment to Montessori philosophy as well as early childhood best practices

.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to develop a strong connection with children and families

• Effective time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance community

• Must complete a First Aid/CPR certification

• Kind, thoughtful, and strong at guiding children in self-motivated learning and helping stimulate their natural desire to learn

• Qualified, enthusiastic, energetic, and nurturing individuals

• Completion of a background check and fingerprints required
