Our motto is be kind, be gentle, be safe, be you. We take Maria Montessori’s age-old philosophy and pair it with a new approach for our teachers and staff. Unlike any other Montessori school, we apply the method to how we run the business and treat our staff. We take it from “follow the child” all the way up to “follow the employee”. Who we are looking for:

  • Primary Lead Guide

  • MACTE accredited IMC, AMI or AMS certified Lead Teachers

  • Must be compassionate, passionate about the method, lover of learning; respectful to all children, colleagues, and parents

  • Have experience with primary-aged children (2.6-6 years old)

  • Strong believer in the “follow the child to foster independence” method

  • Views parents as partners

  • Takes pride in their work

  • Enjoys being part of a close-knit team

  • Agrees with The Children’s House philosophy

What are your Responsibilities?

  • Create and lead your own classroom

  • Parent/teacher conferences

  • Classroom setup and management

  • Parent communication, including emails & newsletters

  • Classroom overview

  • Delegation of tasks to the Assistant

  • Ensure all clean up & preparation are completed

  • Material making

  • Record keeping and tracking/ observation
