Early Childhood Montessori Lead Teacher
Magnolia Montessori is looking to hire a full-time Lead Teacher to work in our Early Childhood Primary Classroom. We are looking for a motivated individual committed to the Montessori Philosophy. Candidates must be able to carry out the developmental and learning goals of the Montessori program. Candidates must be able to build genuine and respectful relationships with each child, maintain a positive and professional attitude, and implement strong classroom management skills.
We are looking for a motivated individual with Montessori experience, or a person who has the desire to learn the Montessori Method. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who hold a Florida teaching certificate and are willing to be trained in the Montessori Philosophy while gaining experience working as a teacher trainee.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

Teaching certification (K to 6, Prek to 3) from the State of Florida

A commitment to learning the Montessori Philosophy

Love of learning

A deep respect of the child and individual learning styles
The Montessori training will include:

Montessori 3 -6 Teacher Training, which involves two summer residencies and a year-long internship working closely with a lead teacher

Opportunity to coach and be coached working within a team that models the Montessori Method
