Children's House Lead Teacher in Brattleboro, Vermont, US

Hilltop Montessori School is seeking a nurturing, experienced, and enthusiastic Montessori certified teacher to teach in an established Children’s House classroom. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field, and Montessori early Childhood certification preferred. We are looking for someone who will be deeply committed in maintaining the integrity of our Children’s House classroom with 20 students age 3-6 years. The ideal candidate must have: strong classroom management skills, the ability to assess and address the developmental needs of each student and to implement curriculum, and be willing to work with others in a positive collaborative team environment. We also ask that candidates have experience with equity, anti-bias, and teaching in an equitable and culturally affirming way and have experience working with children having a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral experiences. While Montessori certification is preferred, applicants without certification will be considered in an assistant role.
