Required Education: Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or similar field, AMI, AMS, or IMC Montessori certification preferred.

Ezra Academy, a prek-8th grade School seeks an energetic, caring, and collaborative teacher to join our Montessori Preschool Program.

Our Montessori program welcomes two, three, four and five-year-old children into half day, three quarter, and our full-day kindergarten programs. A successful candidate is a natural with young children and able to blend Montessori instruction with warmth, inclusivity, and a love of learning.

Required and Desired Skills, Experience and Talent:

Bachelor’s degree required; Montessori certification preferred; salary will be commensurate with education and experience ($27,000-$38,000) for ten-month positions.
3 years of experience teaching children ages 2-5 in a private Montessori school setting is desired.
Experience curating and implementing developmentally appropriate Montessori lessons is key.
A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity is important for competitive candidates to have.
Warmth of personality, a sense of humor, and a willingness and interest to engage with parents and participate in other aspects of our learning community is crucial.
