AFTERNOON TEACHER
Come spend your afternoons with our Toddler community! We are looking for compassionate people to join our staff from 1-5:30 daily. You’ll work directly with trained Montessori teachers and other seasoned staff to create a loving, respectful and joyous environment for children ages 21 months to 2.5 years in one of our Toddler classrooms. There is the possibility of more hours substituting in the mornings.

Responsibilities include: supporting Montessori Philosophy and children’s social-emotional development, support around diapering and toileting, maintaining clean and orderly classroom spaces with the help of the children, ensuring safe supervision of children, planning of routines and activities for the later part of the afternoons.
Job Requirements include: previous experience working with young children, the ability to be reliable, consistent and flexible, a love and understanding of children, high school diploma (early childhood certification or equivalent preferred),  and the ability to lift 30lbs and spend time on the floor/get down to children’s level. Previous experience in Montessori settings preferred.

Salaries start at $15-17/hour; benefits include holiday pay (20 days) plus additional 5 days PTO.
