MISSION STATEMENT
Montessori Co-op School provides an innovative learning environment dedicated to the whole child. We aim to create a community of children, teachers and parents working together to promote exceptional academics, creativity, compassion, and stewardship.
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION STATEMENT
Respect for and understanding of diversity, cultural awareness, and a global perspective are all core values of a Montessori education, as is a general commitment to what we might broadly call, ‘social justice’ and ‘equity.’ The Montessori Co-op School community – from leadership, staff, teachers, parents, and students – reaffirms these core values. In general, we want to be a welcoming school for the broadest possible range of people. And, in general, we want our default to be toward making whatever accommodations necessary, possible and reasonable to accommodate the varieties of ways of being in our world.
PHILOSOPHY
Montessori Co-op School is a non-profit Montessori school founded in 1984 in Omaha, NE. Our co-operative model allows parents and teachers to create a distinct learning environment for children.
