Executive Director in West Lafayette, IN, US

Montessori School of Greater Lafayette (MSGL) is currently accepting applications for the Executive Director role, which leads the school in providing exceptional Montessori education in accordance with the American Montessori Society standards.

The Executive Director is responsible for the school’s daily operations, overseeing the nonprofit organization’s administration, programs, and staff. The Executive Director works closely with the school’s Board of Directors to implement school policies, manage personnel, and build external relations and resources to ensure the school’s continued growth and success. This leadership role requires an individual who understands Montessori education and is dedicated to supporting the development of both children and staff.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a starting salary of $65,000, $75,000 for candidates already holding an Administrator Credential from a MACTE accredited institution. Potential for advancement up to $100,000 based on the ability to increase school enrollment. Employment benefits include a 50% tuition discount for full-time employees’ children, paid time off and holidays, and paid continuing education opportunities. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Nonprofit Management, Education, or Business) and commit to entering a MACTE accredited credentialing program in School Leadership or Administration (if not already held) before August 2027, with costs sponsored by MSGL.
