The Hearth Room is a new school opening in Kansas City on 4 acres of meadow, woods, and pond.  The director is AMI trained from 3-12, and she is guiding the school in an authentic Montessori approach with lots of time outdoors and additional emphases in civics and Bible education.

This is currently a volunteer staff position, but as we reach our enrollment goals, it can transition to a traditionally compensated position.  For individuals with Montessori training, it could eventually lead to a Head of School position.

**This role includes free tuition for two staff children.  Currently, we take the summers off**; some admin work is still required during this season, but it is far below 40 hours per week, and much can be accomplished from home.
