San Tan Montessori School now celebrating 15 years of service to the children and families in the beautiful Morrison Ranch area of Gilbert Arizona is hiring a Lead Primary Directress for the 2021-2022 school year. As a Love and Logic School first and foremost we are seeking a person who loves and cares for children and families with kindness, empathy, positivity, focus, collaboration, proactive communication, and has a problem solving spirit with the ability to work in peace, partnership and unity with teammates and the community as a whole. Effective time and classroom management essential. Love of and active participation in Music Together Classes and incorporating daily music development and songs during transitions and during whole group time is an important part of the San Tan culture and expectation for all preschool staff.

Position begins July 1, 2021 and goes through May 27, 2022 (11 months)
*Montessori Primary Teacher Training, Classroom experience and Certificate Required for this position.

Hours Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30 with a 1/2 break
Classroom of 26 children Mon-Fri
7:00-8:00-Prepare/Morning Care/ Arrival
8:00-11:00 Three Hour work Cycle/Snacks

11:00-11:30 Whole Group Lesson/Music
11:30-12:00 Recess/Lunch setup/ Dismiss AM Students
12:00-1:00 Formal lunchtime/Cleanup/Nap Transition/Nappers nap 12:30-2:30/AM Lunch Students Dismissal
1:00-3:00 Two Hour work Cycle/Dismissal
3:00-5:45 Recess/Snack/Aftercare
