Primary Lead Teacher in Stafford, TX, US

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Certified Lead Primary Teacher to join our team full-time for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement Montessori principles, foster a love of learning, and support the developmental needs of children in their formative years. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, expertise in early childhood education, and a commitment to creating a warm, engaging classroom that promotes curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.

Duties
Design and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children, emphasizing hands-on learning and exploration
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages independence, respect, and collaboration among students
Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning space
Develop individualized lesson plans that support each child’s unique developmental needs, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills
Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to inform instruction
Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about child welfare, development milestones, and classroom activities
Lead activities that promote physical development, creativity, and emotional well-being aligned with Montessori methods
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans in compliance with licensing standards
Collaborate effectively with the preprimary teaching team to support consistency and student success

Experience
Valid Montessori certification for the primary (ages 3-6) level from an accredited program
Proven classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in an early childhood setting
Strong background in curriculum development across literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning
Experience with classroom management techniques suitable for young learners
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
Familiarity with working in private school environments is preferred
Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators
