American International Montessori is a traditional Montessori school located in Berkeley, California, serving students from 18 months through 6th grade in Japanese or Mandarin Chinese language immersion environments. Our innovative, growing program is true to Montessori principles and is run by a highly experienced team who have worked together for many years.

We are seeking a full-time native Mandarin-speaking Montessori trained teacher for our primary level classroom, children ages 3-6 years old, to start immediately. The ideal candidate will be able to work full time, 10am to 6pm.

Ideal candidates:

• Montessori certified with diploma
• Teaching experience in a Montessori classroom setting
• 12 ECE units
• Have a natural team orientation
• Are self-motivated and enthusiastic about working with children
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with parents and colleagues
• Authorized to work in the US
