For the 2023-24 School Year – Oneness-Family School in Kensington, Maryland seeks a High School Math in order to carry out the School’s mission of peace education for our high school students. For 35 years, the Oneness-Family School has educated children to become leaders of tomorrow and it is very proud of its richly diverse and international community of faculty, staff, and students.

This is a Part-Time position ranging 10-12 hours instruction weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00am-12:30pm.

We are looking for candidate to with the ability to teach Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus.

This is an amazing entry-level teacher position with excellent opportunities for advancement in all fields of education.

Qualities and Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate

• Teaching experience in a fast-paced professional setting where children come first (school, camp, summer pool, church, etc.)
• Bachelors degree
• Excellent interpersonal skills – teacher should be able to make positive connections with people easily and naturally
• Calm and approachable; not easily irritated or frustrated
• Communicates well orally and in writing, Fluent in English
• Discreet and trustworthy – teachers must be able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner and also communicate effectively when sensitive information must be shared for the good of the individual. Shares information appropriately
• Time management skills
• Kind and Generous Team Player
