Lower Elementary Teacher in Hingham, Massachusetts

Old Colony Montessori School is looking for a Lower Elementary Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are an enthusiastic, organized, knowledgeable teacher who loves sharing your interests with 6–9-year-old students, and if you have Montessori certification from AMS, AMI or a MACTE-accredited institute, we would love to hear from you! We are a vibrant Montessori school located in Hingham, Massachusetts which is just 20 miles south of Boston. Established in 1963, we are the oldest Montessori school on the South Shore. We serve over 100 students from Toddler (new!) to third grade. Our well established Elementary classroom has 24 mixed-age students in a classroom built just for them located in a separate building on our campus. They have access to their own organic gardens, sports court, and large field. Daily afternoon extracurricular activities include art, music, gardening, Spanish, yoga and various physical activity classes including, but not limited to, soccer, swimming, gymnastics and Tai Chi.
