Headwater Hills Montessori School, Caledon, Ontario, Canada, requires Lower and Upper Elementary teachers for Sept. 2021
HHMS is located near Orangeville, Ontario in the scenic heart of Dufferin-Caledon and the Hockley Valley region. We are a small CCMA accredited Montessori school with students ranging from age 3 to grade 8. Our school is on several acres of naturalized forest, meadow and marshland. We have a Forest School program, school garden, and a parent community that values both Montessori and nature learning.
Candidates for the position will need to have a Montessori diploma (6-12) from a MACTE accredited training program. We are looking for a teacher who knows how to lovingly challenge and support children to bring out their best qualities. Our students love to climb trees, feed birds by hand, grow food, hike and explore – We are looking for a teacher who shares our love of nature. Our ideal candidate is joyfully committed to their own lifelong learning and development, and will bring a love of learning to the classroom.
