Infant and Toddler Lead Guide in Portland, Oregon, US

Child’s View Montessori School has been serving Southwest Portland for over 36 years and value the community around us. Currently, we are seeking a Lead teacher to join our infant and toddler house. This authentic space is nestled SW Portland and boasts a large property with plenty of space for discovery and gardening.

This infant and toddler space serves children between the ages of 4 months and 3 years old; children leave this location to join our Primary classroom on Taylor’s Ferry Road. We are looking for a confident, respectful role-model with a sense of humor, growth mindset, positive attitude, and flexibility to boot! While we know there are so many options in this wonderful field, we feel confident that CVMS would be a meaningful work environment for either a newly-trained or experienced guide. We have a full time Pedagogical Director to support all team members on their Montessori journey.

Qualified candidates should be trained (or be finishing training) by a MACTE accredited training institution and have a strong sense of the Montessori scope and sequence. Ideal candidates will have experience leading an infant and/or toddler community. comfortable being outside each day as well as comfortable with daily observation and record keeping.
