Head of School in Great Falls, Virginia, US
Siena Academy is a small Catholic Montessori school located in Great Falls, Virginia. The ideal candidate
must be a faith-filled, practicing Catholic with experience in both Catholic Montessori education
and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. All of our lead guides are AMI certified teachers but it is not necessary for the Head of School to have the same certification.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, the successful candidate must possess proven
educational, managerial, communication and leadership skills. Five years of teaching experience
in a Catholic school, a master’s degree in school administration (or its equivalent) or a willingness to obtain
appropriate Virginia state and Diocese of Arlington certifications within three years of hire are required.
The start date for the position is July 1, 2024. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and Diocesan guidelines.
