Head of School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, US
Escuela del Sol Montessori is the oldest and first fully accredited Montessori school in New Mexico. Located in the historic downtown center of Albuquerque, the school serves 165 students from preschool through Junior High. In addition to classroom and school facilities, the campus includes art studies and galleries in the Harwood Art Center, community gardens, and event spaces.
The ideal head of school candidate is an energetic and experienced Montessori school leader who is versed in all aspects of running a school from academic leadership through staff management and student support. Escuela del Sol is committed to an inclusive, anti-racist environment. Strategic planning, development and financial oversight are also key components of the position.

Special qualifications:
Certification from a MACTE accredited teacher training center, including AMS, AMI, or IMC credential; classroom experience; and experience in Montessori administration.
