Qualifications: Early Childhood Montessori Credential, Bachelor’s degree,  experience in EC Montessori classroom

Location: Montessori Children’s Center, West Harrison, NY 10604

Our EC Montessori Head teacher will be on maternity leave from mid-June to mid-August 2026. We are seeking an experienced head teacher to lead a stable class of 16 3- to 5-year-olds in a fully furnished, beautiful Montessori environment, with strong support from administration and two experienced assistants.

Excellent pay and dedicated Montessori community. This is a great opportunity for a school-term teacher to teach during the summer or a retired teacher to step back in to the classroom environment for a few months.
