Adolescent Math Teacher in Pittsboro, North Carolina, United States
The adolescent teacher is passionate about working with and empowering adolescents. The adolescent math teacher will be a part of a closely collaborative team of guides in a program rooted in the pedagogy of Montessori Adolescence.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
● Willing to obtain NC licensure within 3 years
Preferred:
● NC middle grade math professional educator license(s)
● Montessori credential from a MACTE-accredited training program, ideally Secondary 1 (ages 12-15)
● Experience teaching in a Montessori setting, ideally Adolescent level
Contract term: Full-time, 10 months
Start Date: August 12, 2024
