Montessori Upper Elementary Guide (9 - 12) in St. Augustine, FL , US

St. Augustine Public Montessori is seeking an experienced, dynamic Upper Elementary Montessori Guide to provide an authentic Montessori experience in a public school setting starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will possess a love of Montessori education, good organization skills, a collaborative work ethic, and the ability to think creatively. Candidates with a current Montessori credential and FL teaching certification or ability to obtain one is required.

St. Augustine Public Montessori School is a Board governed, not for profit charter elementary school located in the nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine, Florida.  Founded in 2012, and serving children from Early Childhood to Upper Elementary. We have achieved operational success and a supportive community, all within a fully implemented Montessori framework. We are located in uptown St. Augustine amidst historic sites, community resources and beautiful natural areas. Wide unspoile beaches provide year round opportunities for outddoor recreation. The city offers many livable island/march communities all within biking distance of the ocean and a vibrant downtown. St. Augustine is less than an hour from Jacksonville and Daytona Beach and two hours from Orlando.

Special qualifications: AMI, AMS or MACTE Montessori certified Florida teaching certificate or ability to obtain one.
