Now Hiring: A to I Montessori Guide (Toddler Classroom 2026–2027)
Starling Montessori, founded in 2024 and located in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, D.C., is seeking a passionate A to I (0-3) Montessori Guide to lead our Toddler Classroom serving children ages 16 months to 3 years, with a small group size of approximately 8–12 children. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an authentic Montessori program and grow with a developing school. You will work closely with leadership to build the Toddler program and foster a nurturing, child-centered environment. Candidates currently in Montessori training are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Qualifications:
AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited A to I (0–3) Montessori certification (completed or in progress) AND Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field OR an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Experience working with children in a Montessori or early childhood setting
Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development
Warm, collaborative, and professional approach with children, families, and colleagues
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to building an inclusive, respectful classroom community
Authorization to work in the USA is required.
