Are you interested in working with children in a warm and nurturing environment? Adams Montessori School is seeking full-time (8-3:15) primary (ages 3 to 6) classroom assistants. Assistants in our AMI Montessori program work with the lead teacher to prepare and maintain an orderly, attractive, and joyful environment. They provide another pair of observant and attentive eyes and ears. Classroom assistants are also crucial in modeling courteous and respectful behavior.

Our school, which has been in operation for over 50 years, is located in a beautiful historic building in Quincy close to public transportation. We are a small, warm and diverse Montessori school with a close-knit and caring staff.

Applicants with experience in child care or child development are preferred. We also give preference to applicants with a knowledge of Montessori theory. Hourly pay is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits are also provided in the form of health insurance and retirement plan matching.
