Toddler Classroom Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico, US
Escuela del Sol Montessori Seeks Classroom / Educational Assistant for Early Childhood Classroom (ages 18 months – 3 years).
We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced team players to promote a high-fidelity Montessori learning environment at Escuela del Sol, New Mexico’s oldest independent not-for-profit Montessori school. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with children. Knowledge of Montessori and/or childhood development is a bonus. For all classroom adults, first and foremost, we are looking for someone with a centered, healthy, and focused attitude who understands that they work in concert with families and colleagues as well as students. The applicant welcomes diversity, values inclusion, has a deep warmth of character, and strong communication skills.

The position can take several forms depending on the strengths, experience, and desired professional trajectory of the individual. Detailed job description available upon request; strong benefits package available; pay depends on experience – a general range for this position is $15-$20 an hour.
Escuela del Sol has about 160 students, toddler through 8th grade. We are located in the heart of Albuquerque between Old Town and Downtown.
